IMPORTANT NOTE.   PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING: The book sculpture you are purchasing is made from a randomly selected used book (most often a novel) in good condition.   The book is not meant to be read; it is merely the medium in which the sculpture is made. By purchasing this book sculpture kit, you are indicating that you understand the book may contain language / content that is potentially offensive.  There is no connection between the content of the book, and the design of the sculpture you are making from it.   Because the book is used, it may contain inscriptions or other writing in the front, minor cosmetic imperfections, or any number of other similar minor irregularities.  None of these minor imperfections should detract from your final sculpture.  If you are likely to be upset or offended by the content of the book or minor imperfections or irregularities in the book, you are advised against purchasing it.

MAKING THE SCULPTURE:  We have made all the necessary markings on the pages.  These markings show you where you need to fold each page in order to transform the marked book into a sculpture similar to that shown on the cover.

TO COMPLETE THE SCULPTURE YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THE FOLDS WHERE INDICATED ON EACH PAGE.   THIS IS SIMILAR IN CONCEPT TO “DOG-EARING” EACH PAGE TWICE …. ONCE AT THE TOP AND ONCE AT THE BOTTOM.  

THE ESTIMATED TIME REQUIRED FOR YOU TO FOLD THE BOOK INTO A SCULPTURE IS APPROXIMATELY 1 TO 2 HOURS.IT MAY BE A BIT MORE OR A BIT LESS DEPENDING UPON HOW QUICKLY YOU WORK, AND THE PARTICULAR DESIGN YOU CHOOSE.
